The Caucus will work to increase awareness and find common ground in responding to issues facing the oceans and coasts, which support millions of jobs in America and contribute more to the country’s GDP than the entire farm sector, grossing more than $230 billion in 2004.

Educational Training Funds Available to RIMTA Members

Through generous support from the RI Governor’s Workforce Board, RIMTA members with a valid business in the state are eligible to apply for financial support for qualified and approved industry skills training. Due to the nature of these funds, certain restrictions do apply:
Training must begin after March 15, 2011 and be completed by June 30, 2011.

Training must be connected to a wage increase, a certification and/or a promotion.

Training funds are provided via reimbursement only. Proof of payment is required.
